Whats going on!

So things are as busy as usual for me. But almost done with fall classes so that is great news.
(E) and I are leaning towards Benjamin for our new baby boy. Of course (E) will pick the spelling.
He has gotten some nice clothes from Macy's and (E) is super excited to have a baby boy.

I have two final exams to study for and one final essay to turn in and then I will be done with UND.  I still need to signed up for the courses at Mayville State but I have been having problems signing in to my account to due so. I need to call the school to get things figured out. That has been put on the back burner for awhile. Plenty of homework, class time, working, and trying to get over a cold have been taken all my time.

After finals I will be packing things up for yet another move. This time to Bismarck for a bit. It will be nice to be home. Take care of mom and dad. See the kids a bit more. Get ready for the big move out to CA.

I am going to have to say I am going to miss work in Grand Forks.  I had some super nice co-workers and the work itself was pretty easy. Heck I am writing this while at work.

I am off to find things to do.

Ok, time to get serius

This is going to a very long post with many topics. Feel free to give me your opinion and feedback at anytime.

To start things off let us chat about college.

My college career has been quite a roller coaster ride. Tons of ups and downs a couple of spirals. Best way to break it down would be to go with past, present, future.
PAST
Went to Bismarck State College and graduated with an AS degree. Funny thing about my major it says on my transcripts, Transfer Studies. How the hell does that ever look good on a resume.
Job Interview
What was is your major?
Ah...Transfer Studies...
How do you think your major will help you clean the restrooms better?
Pretty much a joke of a major.
I attend the Medcenter One College of Nursing. I had way to much going on in my life and my grades are the ones that got the short end of the stick...I would much rather have lost my grades then lose the kids in court.
PRESENT
After three years off I am now a full-time student again at the University of North Dakota pursuing a major in Public Administration. Current gpa 2.25 :'( *sigh*
Reasons this has never be rising. Work. Working full-time to support two little kids with child support and health care does take time away from sleep and studies.
FUTURE
Plans have changed quite a bit with baby on the way. I have applied at Mayville State so I can move to California to support the woman I love with her stressful time of being a mother and medical student. I applied at Mayville hoping to get a bachelor's of science in business administration. But, after some investigating I find out that it is a bachelor's of applied science in business administration that is offered online.  Now this has got me very concerned because the course requirement are very short compared to a bachelor's of science in BA.  Which in turn means what kind of job can I get??
That is my biggest worry right now. So some ideas to combat this fear is to talk to the adviser's at Mayville State on Friday. And, I was thinking I could talk to my companies Human Resources department and ask, "Would you be more likely to hire some one with a BS over a BAS?"
Over all my goal is to complete online while supporting Elizabeth anyway I can.

Moving on from college let us turn our attention to Finances.
My financial situation cannot get much worse. My credit score has to be hitting 400 by now.
Somethings that have on my mind...
Transferring to Mayville State in mid-year like this can prove to be rather interesting with finical aid. We can all hope for an easy transition but we all know that will not happen.
When I move out to CA there are some unknowns. Income, I need to find something! Health Insurance, Not only for myself but my family (Elizabeth, Grace, Joseph, and baby) This day and age this is very important. I can cover things for a bit with the COBRA after I resign but I need to find something I can keep for a long term bases. Which in turn goes back to finding a decent job which in turn goes back to complete a decent degree.

I will take a break from my complex mind for now and continue to ponder what is the best choice. Feel free to leave ideas and concern in the comment field I will address them all in another post.

Bathrooms

Since I just went to the men's room I thought I would enlighten you of my thoughts and concerns when I use the water closet.

First when ever I use a public bathroom stall the first thing I think about is...having a permanant marker and writing...
"They paint these walls to hind my pen
but the shit house poet has struck...again!"

I read that one in a stall at a scouting camp outside of Cody, WY.

Second thing is when I wash my hands and use paper towels I wish there was something we could do with the towels after you throw them away.  The just wind up in the land fill.  I could give them to a homeless person to start their nightly fires with...something, anything better than going to the dump. Ha Ha dump, get it, bathroom paper towels going to the dump..

It begins!

This is my first first blog...well I will call it James Farrell and his crazy untold stories.

I will pause for a short bathroom break.
